Every post should have it a couple ways for your meaningful and pleasurable engagement: in 14 point arial, and with a link to the Spotify. Which means, you can read it outright using your own inflection and inside voice on mass transit and/or have Siri use one of her many accents while you’re in the shower. OR, you can listen to my smooth baritones while you complete much less important tasks outside, like driving an ambulance, performing oral surgery or putting out structural fires.
All with the hope and intent to help you see and know God, better.
Because as you’ll eventually see: the better you know God, the better life goes. Seriously.
As for me, by the Grace of God I’ve been on the other side of 30+ years of doing life the really dumb way - for about 10 years, now. He’s violently upgraded me from the original model. He’s patiently burned me to the ground and rebuilt. He’s lovingly made deposits and gutted me to the studs. He’s changed everything for me.
Which means, I owe Him, bigly.
And because of all that Love and Mercy and Tenderness God’s whacked me with, I really, really love Him. Just like He said we would. And in return for everything He’s done for me, I feel obliged to give you every relevant thing I’ve learned from Him previously, and whatever Revelatory Thing He’s saying, now.
Much to the chagrin of my wife, I get pretty personal with backstory and relatable history. Much to the dismay of religious elite, I get pretty sarcastic and heads on. Much to your benefit, it’s pretty much mostly submitted and yielded to His Spirit and for His Glory. Much to my enjoyment, I get to do this for a living.
Hope it changes everything for you, as He did for me.
